Unable to get my free game

I'm unable to get Lego Star Wars:TCS, Here's the ref number [Mod Removed].

Why am I not getting xbox Gold when it says I paid for it? Cant access games!

My concern is in the Title. Im paying for gold rewards when Im unable to get free games with gold. You tell me.

 

Unable to get a free game for free

I am trying to download Mars Rover Landing, which says "Free". Instead, the download button has been replaced with a "Change Payment Option" button. As far as I can tell, it is because there is a "1: plus tax" added, making the final price "... ...", and
I do not have any payment methods added to my account.

I do not have a credit card to put on my account to see if it would just say the charge is zero, and I should not have to.

Any suggestions for getting the "free" game on my account?

Are you trying to download it from a 360 or One? If it's from the One, there's usually one of two issues happening. If you're on a child account you'll need to make the purchase from a 360 console. Otherwise, make sure you have a credit card or Paypal on
file in order to make the purchase.

 

no it's not a child account and I've tried with a card it still wont work?, it just keeps having a black screen?

 

Have you tried on the website or Xbox app?

Have you double checked that you have a proper payment method/billing address on file for your Xbox Live account? Provided that your Xbox Live account region matches your physical location, the next common issue we see for obtaining Xbox 360 games is lack
of a valid payment option on the Xbox Live account. Double check that you can see a method listed on your
Microsoft Commerce account. If you see one, try removing and re-adding it to see if that helps.

Hmm okay. In that case, try reaching out to your local
phone/chat support team and have them look into your payment instruments. They can verify that you have a valid credit card or other payment method on file in order to purchase/obtain Xbox 360 games on your Xbox One console.
