Yeah, I was unable to find it on the xbox store. It had me link to the EA Beta store to find and purchase. Still very helpful!!

i just tried the game "Towerfall Ascension" and a similar problem occurs with it. please also see this post at the steam-forum of the game, where many more are having similar problems, and the combination of xbox one controllers with direct input is suggested
