    Unable to figure out how to use my laptop as a monitor for Xbox One


    I have essentially given up. I truly cannot figure out how to connect my xbox to my laptop and get the display to work. I do not have a TV but my xbox already has my account signed in on there. Ive tried connecting my xbox and laptop via HDMI cable. The xbox has 2 different HDMI ports and Ive tried both of them but my laptop still says there is no other display. I tried to do it through bluetooth but not even my xbox shows up there, the laptop has blluetooth services. Also, I am not sure but the way I check to see if I can change the display to the xbox is by going to my laptop settings>system>display and pne of the options is Multiple Displays. I click connect and it says no display is found. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP, I BEG

    Hdmi cable go one way,you have to plug in the right end,hope this helps
    No, that won't help Most laptop HDMI ports (and I'm talking 99% of them) are outputs only. They can't receive input.

    You can stream your Xbox using remote play to the Xbox app on your laptop.
