Unable to edit BIO on my Xbox 360

I am unable to edit my bio on my xbox360, i've updated it using
https://live.xbox.com/en-US/MyXbox/GamerProfile, but the changes do not show up on my console. I found this post on the forums(http://forums.xbox.com/xbox_forums/xbox_support/xbox_360_support/f/9/t/1575429.aspx?pi7406=2), and decided to post in here.

Profile Editing

I am unable to edit name, location and bio on xbox 360, there are no options to edit these in menu. Only ones i have are gamertag, gamer picture, gamer zone, motto and avatar. How do i fix it?

I am sorry to hear about your problem. Here is a solution that should work, as it is a solution to many problems. Have you tried to delete your PROFILE ONLY and then recovering it again? Make sure you delete profile ONLY, not items.

 

I'm having the same problem, there is no option to change my bio, location or name on the xbox 360 dashboard, 'Settings' tab in the xbox guide, or here on the xbox website. I've tried deleting my profile and redownloading it and searching the forums. I've
also made sure there are no privacy settings that are restricting change; the family settings are also turned off. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

@o Blowable have you tried the first link in the OP's thread, that should allow you to change your bio etc.
