Unable to edit account name, location, or bio

Hello,

I've ran into the problem that I can't change my account Name, Location, or the Bio. I did a search on the problem and found this:

make separate thread for ease of organizing, helping and that it is a known problem. So here I am. Seeing how the post was done on Sept. 4, 2013; we're hoping there is a simple fix for this by now.



We know you are supposed to go into Edit Profile, then scroll down to the option you want (Edit Bio, Edit Name, Edit Location).
The options just aren't there. My hubby said he has tried the recommended "delete and re-download" of the profile and there is no change. The accounts for our kids is also the same. My husband seems to
be the only one that shows all the options. Any advice/help would be great.

Unable to edit profile

I'm trying to edit my profile but I can't. It doesn't show Bio, Location, or Name. I'm a beta tester. I have already tried deleting my profile off of the console and clearing system cache and still unable to edit my profile

 

Profile Editing

I am unable to edit name, location and bio on xbox 360, there are no options to edit these in menu. Only ones i have are gamertag, gamer picture, gamer zone, motto and avatar. How do i fix it?

Sorry to hear about the editing issues. Have you tried to edit your bio on xbox.com? If you haven't already you can try editing your bio on our Edit Profile page. I would also check to make sure
that you don't have any parental controls enabled that may prevent you from editing your bio. You can find out if you have any of these settings enabled on our Parental
Control page.

Give these suggestions a try and let us know if you are able to edit your bio.

 

It's a known issue right now the only option to change that info would be through the link provided by Mister Quimby. Once you change the info there it will show up on your GT on the console.

Your link worked. Thank you. But I would like to know how to get to that. I pulled up my profile on the site here and can't find anything that has an EDIT PROFILE option. I'm probably just overlooking it.

To be honest it is a little tricky....The link is only available currently in the forums. If you try to change your info using the usual methods on the website it will not work. So I'd just save the link to this post. Use it any time you need to update the
info until the issue is fixed on xbox side.
