Unable to download XBox 360 Games with Gold since September

So for MANY years I had no problems downloading the XBox 360 Games with Gold titles via xbox.com,

which I had to because on console I am forced to register a credit card instead of Paypal, just to DOWNLOAD my free Games with Gold XBox 360 game, which a) is just stupid because I have XBox Live Gold active and thus it's free anyway(!) and b) in many countries
it is NOT so typical for everyone to have a credit card!

Anyway, since September, it seems Microsoft [mod removed] up their website and trying to download the XBox 360 Games with Gold titles results in an infinite loading icon and that's it.

It doesn't matter if I'm doing it on Firefox, Chrome, Edge or on my mobile phone, it won't work!

I tried contacting Microsoft via chat and e-mail but they treat me like an idiot just telling me to register a credit card and downloading it via console, but as I said that is impossible for me as I have none and can't get one!

Also it seems they have a hard time understanding me even though I contacted specifically my country's support in german, so there was a heavy language barrier and I wish I had just switched over to talking in english to them because my english is better than
their german.

And they don't seem to know how to handle this at all or even know what this problem is all about..

It just feels bad that Microsoft seems to save money by hiring poorly trained personnel :/

Anyway.. the problem still persists and I have, since September, been unable to download FOUR games that should have been free to download with my XBox Live Gold membership.

I've been a Gold member since over 12 years now and I am pretty pissed at how Microsoft is treating their customers!

Up until now I thought Microsoft at least KINDA cares.....

Do you have any close friends or relatives who have an Xbox 360? or even if it's your trust, because you could go to his house to download the game to your account, since downloading 360 games from the console itself is much less likely to go wrong

The same thing happens to me. the solution was to do it from my xbox one console. I think it's a widespread glitch and the solution is only valid if you've had 360 before

which is the website from Xbox that you usually use? I mean, the region or country. I guess you could try log in other nearby region, because I´m from Mexico and sometimes I search demos from U.S. website and there is no problem, the games are the same
for both countries and then the website automatically redirect me to Mexico when I purchase something.

I know that sometimes the Microsoft Store site is a little bugged and with 360 titles you'll see an infinite loop of loading ring.

By the way I suggest you to use the console and for the credit card issue, you can also use a prepaid card that is really easy to obtain.

For me, I was able to "buy" the XBox 360 Games with Gold games on the website until THIS September..

And I have both my Paypal and my XBox console set to Austria, as that is where I am from, however XBox Live always tells me to set up a credit card when trying to get my XBox 360 games on my XBox One..
