Unable to download valheim on series s

I’m primarily pc game so haven’t updated the console in a while. Have been playing valheim on the Xbox one with the gf, but the frame rate was terrible. Yesterday I got a series s, but it acts like valheim doesn’t exist. I have game pass ultimate, but it doesn’t show in the games, in searches, or in the store at all. The only way I was able to find it was to add it to my wishlist on my phone and look at the list on the Xbox, but even then, I only have the cloud gaming option, and I want to d/l it. Any ideal what’s up?

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you with your concern.

Are you pertaining to the game "Valheim (Game Preview)"?

If yes, make sure that your console location is set up correctly.

Once confirmed kindly remove and re-add your account and then check again.

"REMOVE ACCOUNT

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

2. Select System > Settings > Account > Remove accounts.

3. Select the account that you want to remove, and then select Remove to confirm.

4. When you're finished, select Close.

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

ADD ACCOUNT

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

2. Select your gamerpic in the upper-left corner of the screen, move all the way down and select Add new.

3. Enter the Email address and the password.

4. Read the Microsoft Service Agreement and Privacy Statement, and then select I Accept.

5. Follow the steps to configure your Sign-In & Security preferences to add your Microsoft account to your Xbox console."

I have an Xbox Series X and an Xbox One S. I have restarted both consoles multiple times. I cannot even download the game on my One S. On the Series X, I was able to download "something" by clicking on the tile in my games inventory, but the result is only 74GB instead of the 96GB shown in the MS store.

How do I get help with this? I am unable to play the game on the Series X (I get an error that I am too early, even though I purchased the Ultimate Edition), and I am unable to download anything on the Xbox One S.

Can anyone help?

I did this last resort full reset. I was unable to download any of the games I own after this full reset. I assume that this means my Xbox series s’s hard drive is faulty. Am I right with this assumption?

As per checking, Valheim is not currently available on Xbox consoles. As of my knowledge, Valheim was only available on PC. The developers of the game, Iron Gate, have not announced any plans to release Valheim on Xbox consoles at this time. However, there's a rumor online that the game will be released on Xbox in Spring 2023.

I’m having the same problem! i uninstalled the game to try reinstalling but It only giving me the option for series X/S version! So I’m still unable to reinstall

I spoke to Microsoft earlier today and they said it’s a licensing issue, it’s not showing that I have the license to download the Xbox one version though I have the series X/S deluxe version (which includes Xbox one version) in my purchase history! Hopefully they can fix it soon
