unable to download or add a profile to my xbox 360

I was playing a game recently when my xbox started acting really strange and buggy. After a few minutes it froze entirely and i was forced to unplug it to shut it down. Apon restarting it took several minutes to get past the Xbox logo, then prompted me to
create or download a profile.

When trying to create a profile it opens a loading screen and acts as if it is creating one, however after a few seconds it returns to a screen asking for a username with no explanation.

When trying to download a profile it prompts me for my ID and password, then begins loading my profile with the text "Hello downlaoding your profile", then presents an error message "Sorry Xbox profiles cant be downloaded right now. Try again
later." 8007045D

I have been trying to fix this. I called the support line and walked me through clearing the cache and redownloading my profiles. We went through the procedure several times with no success. I even removed the harddrive and put it back in. I am still
unable to download my profiles. My xbox 360 is about 2 years old. Do I just have a bad console or is there something that can be fixed.??

Sorry to hear that you're unable to download the apps you want. Have you recently

updated your Xbox 360? Could you try clearing your cache three times in succession, then turning your console completely off and back on again? After
doing that, please re-download — not delete! — your profile. If you need help with that, please check out the troubleshooting article on how to Add

Hi have you tried to do this:settings-system-hard drive-hover over HDD- hit Y- clear system cache

and also do you have a lot of profiles on your xbox?

 

According to the code search for 8007045D it is stating that the code you are getting is indeed a download error code. You mentioned you spoke with customer support about it and they walked you through both trouble shooting suggestions on the error code
look up such as clearing the system cache and completely deleting your profile from you hard drive and then trying to redownload it.

Can you log into your account on Xbox.com or login.live.com? If you can't sign in to either one of those web sites than you may need to do a full account recovery, password reset as well as adding or updating your security proofs on your account.

How to delete and redownload your gamertag:
support.xbox.com/.../profile-move-delete

Adding security proofs to your account:
support.xbox.com/.../add-security-proof

Updating security proofs on your account:
support.xbox.com/.../cant-access-security-proofs
