Unable to download new games & updates; receive error code: 0x8007045d.

Message to Microsoft....your customer service is none existent and for which a company of your stature should be seriously ashamed. Due to no answers nor support I now have a Xbox One X going in the bin or as you say.....trash can!

Discovered the problem...a faulty hard drive! Apparently Microsoft have installed some inferior hard drives within Xbox One X and unfortunately my console included one of them. Well done Microsoft for producing a quality piece of kit; console just over 2
years old with general light use; surely the hard drive should last much longer than this!

Thanks for the reply. Its gone past being able to download. My Xbox will not go past the 'something has gone wrong' page. I try the troubleshoot option and get taken to reset and having tried both 'reset retaining games' and 'factory reset' find neither
make any difference. In both instances the Xbox turns itself off and then back on only to return back to the something has gone wrong page. I am unable to go to home page or any other with only the something gone wrong page being available; going around in
circles.
