Unable to download Minecraft for Windows on my pc

When I try to download Minecraft for Windows from Xbox, i get the error code 0x00000001. I have a windows 10.

I am able to download the minecraft launcher that has Java Edition and Minecraft for Windows on it, but the java edition is the only one i am able to open. When I try to install the Windows version from the launcher, the Play button gets dark.

Some users are having this issue right now. Since the Minecraft for Windows + Java Edition bundle offer was released two days ago, I think Minecraft servers are still syncing everything.

On the offer page they said that servers will still be syncing for up to 72 hours after the offer got released:

"You don’t need to do anything to claim this, but please keep in mind that it might take 2 to 3 days for the game to show up as we roll it out to all eligible players."

So I would recommend you to just wait until tomorrow night and see how it goes. If still does not let you play Minecraft for Windows, please let me know and we will troubleshoot it. I hope you understand.

Hi I'm trying to download Minecraft windows 10 on my pc, having previously owned it on xbox. It doesn't say I own the game in the store yet it is on my account purchase history. I have spoken to someone on a text help chat and they were unable to resolve
the issue. What should I do - I would be very annoyed to have to buy the game again.

you are going to need to buy the windows 10 version because Xbox minecraft and PC is different

Hi, quick question. So how exactly do I know if I have the Windows version vs the Bedrock version on my pc? Because I installed the new minecraft launcher, and according to it, I have the windows edition of minecraft, even though I have minecraft on my xbox. Would I just be unable to get a free java edition?

The problem now is that I can download the launcher but the minecraft for window which you need to download the game mode, have an error everytime i try to download. Now is that the app of minecraft for window is impossible to download so i cannot do any repair on it,

And for the payment it is Minecraft: Java & Bedrock Edition for PC so i dot know what is the problem with this that make me cannot download the minecraft for window
