Unable to download Lego Star Wars for Games with Gold

So it tries to charge me everytime i attempt to download it. I was able to download Lara Croft with zero issue. I contacted supported and was told that i needed to download this on an Xbox360 first and then re-download it on my xbox One to get it for free.
I have had ZERO problems downloading any of the 360 Games with gold on my xbox One. Any solution to this, or do i really need to bother someone with a 360 to let me do this nonsense.

Apologies for the delayed response. Were you ever able to download Lego Star Wars? If not, are you still having trouble with this month's Games with Gold options?

Xbox live gold is very good with the star wars games will the folks at Microsoft Xbox could put the lego star wars 3 to be available to gold members?

I'm on a trial, but in previous months I've never had any issues with any of the 360 games or one games. Is that the problem?

 

Yes. You can still download the One games on a trial because those are set up differently and require a gold subscription to keep using them. 360 games don't require a gold subscription to keep using them, but you have to have a full gold subscription to
download them for free. Trials are not eligible.
