    Unable to download Halo: The Master Chief Collection


    Hello,

    i recently got my hands on the Xbox Game Pass for PC and tried to install Halo.

    But it won't start the download. It shows me an error message with the errorcode "0x80070070".

    So i tried to install a different game (Metro 2033 Redux) and it worked perfectly.

    Only with Halo i have those problems. I can't even choose the location where i want it to be installed.

    I searched for solution for the errorcode and did some troubleshooting. Resetting the Microsoft Store and deleting the cache etc.

    Just to clarify, are you referring to the code for Halo: The Master Chief Collection or the code for ODST? If you are referring to the code for the Master Chief Collection, unfortunately we are unable to replace these codes here in the Support Forums.

    Hi, the version of odst you purchased, was it the xbox one version for Halo the Master chief collection or the Xbox 360 version of the game? If it was the Master Chief collection version, then you need the master chief Collection installed on your Xbox
    One to be able to download the game.

    Halo Reach is not on the Master Chief Collection disc, only the Halo CE, 2, 3 & 4 are. If you want to play Halo reach, then you can purchase the dlc for the Master Chief Collection or download the Backward Compatible version.
