    Hi

    I have been unable to download any games from Gamespass on my laptop. My PC on the same account and router is fine.
    I have had three chat sessions which have been unable tor resolve the issue and can't get hold of Microsoft as the callback request keeps generating an error.
    In desperation I have completely factory reset my laptop and this has made no difference. Error 0x00000001 is still coming up.

    I have spent close to 12 hours trying to fix this over two days and now at my wits end.

    Please can anyone help or tell me how I can speak to Microsoft. I've been trying to request a callback every 10 minutes or so but just get "There was an error connecting you. Feel free to ask another question or try again."

    Hmm so if I'm correct, you are unable to use the direct dial contact number AND you are unable to set up a contact session through chat and callback? If so, sorry for the troubles! Hopefully Mr Gwyther or another Mr/Mrs of the forums can offer some more
    guidance here.

    billing selection     will cover any issues with payments/charges to your Microsoft account. If it asks you to chat with a virtual agent, decline that and choose one of the other options (a free callback or a live chat session with a Microsoft employee).

    You are welcome and I'm sorry about the situation. On the Xbox support website, if the callback option is not working, you can try to chat with a live agent. If the option to chat does not appear to you, keep changing topics or categories until it does.

    My laptop is registered and everything is signed into the account for GP but still its pulling up a PC not linked to my account. It's frustrating paying for GP but I cave download anything bc the garbage app pulls up a PC that's not mine and the Windows app fails and all 15 steps given don't work to let it download a game.
