Unable to download Gears of war 2

i am having troubbel downloading gears of war 2 as it is free to download this month ive just renewed my xbox live subscription and it wont let me download the game unless i buy it any help you could give me in resolving this matter would be most apreciated.

Cannot redeem Gears of War 1 and 3 that came free with Gears of War 4 on XBOX One

I bought a copy of Gears of War 4 for the Xbox One a while back. It came with free downloads of Gears of War 1-3 and Gears of War Judgement. I was able to redeem Gears of War 2 and Judgment but am unable to redeem Gears of War 1 and 3. And with 3, it says
the code has already been used but it does not appear in my library, whereas with 1, I am simply unable to redeem it. Please help.

Gears Of Wars 2 Game Not My Download Listed

I purchased the Gears of War Ultimate Edition, and had no problem downloading Gears, Gears 3, or the prequel. However, I am unable to pull up anything for Gears 2 to download onto my console. I contacted Xbox customer service and they directed me here saying
that there was another code that I may require.

You just click buy and select your payment option and it will display the price free

And yes if you don't have a 360 in order to queue 360 games including games with gold you need a valid payment option on file regardless of free or paid

free will still be free however you still med verify your account region with billing info

Thank you for posting! Gears of War 2 currently is not available in Germany, and we are unable to speculate if or when the game will be made available. Additionally, players who pre-ordered Gears of War 4 in Germany would have received all games accept for Gears
of War 2. I hope this helps clear up the concern!

You do know that...they might have even banned you from playing Gears of War 3? Several members banned from the forums have found themselves unable to access Gears of War 2's MP.
