    Unable to download games due to Error code: 0x80070005 - Xbox GamePass (PC)


    I have applied every windows update I can think of, including from this
    link    . I even went so far as to go back to a prior version and redid the updates.

    It appears that the only games I can't download require admin approval. I don't know why I can't install it since I am the only user on the PC and have all admin rights to do everything.

    Seems like none of them worked and instead of downloading the Easy Recovery Essentials. I might try to reset Windows 10 tomorrow if nobody else has any other solution. I do think this is linked to permissions since I do have some random folders I cannot
    delete.

    I just got it working, but I am not exactly sure how. I went through a lot of different fixes, like making sure that my profile had administrator rights, etc. There was an update listed for the xbox beta app today at 9 AM (6/13/2019). I had Avast antivirus,
    I completely uninstalled it. So one of those two things got this to actually work, because now I am able to download everything off of gamepass, finally!

    Im using the Xbox (beta) App and it appears that I do have the subscription. I was able to download other games.
