Unable to download game on PC? Only works on Xbox.

I purchased Cuphead via preorder, redeemed the code via the windows store, and had no problem hitting the button to have it install on my Xbox one. However, there is no link for me to install it on my pc.

When I go to the game page at the windows store, it has two buttons. The first is blue (and clickable) and says "Install on Xbox one". The second is grayed out and simply says "You own this product".

There is no button to install on my windows machine.

I have confirmed that my windows machine has the latest updates installed and I have confirmed my xbox is up to date as well. My accounts are obviously connected, otherwise I wouldn't be able to tell my windows machine to install the game over on my xbox.

My computer easily meets the games requirements as well. So basically, I have gone down the list and checked all of the basic things that the FAQ for Play Anywhere states.

What do I have to do to be able to take advantage of the Play Anywhere feature and actually install this on my PC?

Unable to Download 360 Information

Solved!

Checked my old Xbox 360 and noticed that it only conects properly to XBox Live by cable using another internet connection. Tried to use that cable connection instead of wireless on Xbox One and got a DNS error, solved by resetting de router. After the first
game finally downloaded my XBox 360 info, everything works just fine back on wireless.

Seems like Xbox Live works completely different on both consoles, and you just need to have a connection compatible with XBox 360 to autenticate on Xbox One.

Using a bypass doesn't work everytime thst is why its not a supportrd method

Your best option is to match your account region with your actual region

Since that's not possible for you your only option is buy disks from your region

Gta is region locked even if you use unauthorized methods to bypass them they are not garenteed to work

Can you check there isn't already something installed to your PC? Press the Windows key and type "Cuphead" and see if anything shows up, and in the search bar also type "add remove" and follow the suggestion to Add & Remove Programs and see if there's anything
under Cuphead you could delete. It's possible that during the pre-order window your PC downloaded a placeholder Cuphead file, so the Windows Store knows you own it but also can't launch it as it's not the full game installed.

To use the Play Anywhere system on your PC, you must first connect with the same account used on your console. In Windows 10, you'll must open Store app and search the game (in this case Cuphead), then you will be prompted to download the game on your PC.
