    Absolute USELESS! After purchasing, got as far as the Xbox Games screen 'login' box to start the download. It kept rejecting the MS password even though it was correct, and was able to login all other MS accounts, also tried re-setting password, this was
    all done under myself as Admin. I have never had a Xbox console, so no different password. I phoned Microsoft agent and they did not understand what the problem was? After several hours of trying to sort out problem, I gave up and requested a refund, which
    I now have. There is now a ongoing Microsoft case reference. I still want to know what the problem was, and will continue to pester Microsoft.

    why is it I am being forced to add another security account to my email when I already have one?

    Because its a good way to recover your current account in case that you forgot your password or you're unable to login in, that demonstrate that you're the owner of that account

    Shoot. I didn't mean to reject the answer, because it worked. Thanks for the help. I was able to login to my account on my PC and apply the app password on the 360. Thanks again!!

    Sorry for the delayed response. I am still unable to login, i have setup the two step verification. I am able to login in the net but unable to login using the console !

    When i try to login into the console i get the following message "The following password dint work. Try a different one or use your app password if you setup two-step verification. Visit Xbox.com/forgot for help."
