Unable to download Dungeon Siege 3 even when on Xbox Live Gold

Hi. I've had issues trying to download Dungeon Siege 3. I've been unable to download it for free since it was made available this month. However, I was able to downlaod Dirt 3.

I have already changed both my Xbox region and account region to United Kingdom. I do not want to miss this chance of getting this game for free through Xbox Live Gold.

I get the error of 80150017 when I use my Xbox 360 to download. On the website, it asks me for my credit card information, but I do not have a credit card that works in the UK. Please help me.

Can't Access Xbox 360 Games with Gold

With my Xbox Live Gold account, I'm supposed to have access to not only Xbox One titles, but Xbox 360 as well. I've wanted to download this month's Xbox 360 free game (Dungeon Siege 3) but it isn't available to me. When I go to my Gold hub area on Xbox
One, it shows the two Xbox One titles I can get (I started my membership mid-month in November) but not Dungeon Siege. When I use the Xbox Games with Gold web site, after clicking on the link to download Dungeon Siege 3 from the Xbox Store, it takes me to
a page where the only option is to download it to my Xbox 360. I've contacted Twitter support and they haven't figured out why I can't get this game. Any thoughts?

 

Can't download 360 gold game at xbox.com/gameswithgold

I purchased one month gold.

At xbox.com/gameswithgold i'm able to download the 360 game Dungeon Siege III in my browser. After that the game appears on my xbox one games list and i can download it.

But i'm unable to download dirt 3 in my browser (no download button). It's on the list of compatible games.

 

Your need to match your account region with your actual region

Unless you don't live in an xbox live region

 

On order. To make any purchases on xbox webmarketplace you need to have a credit card on file

If UK isn't your actual region you cannot get the content and you will have to wait 3months before you can move again

The tool is only meant for actual moves

 

I live in Kenya. I first changed my account and console region to US so that I could play online. I've been able to play online since I bought a 3 month subscription.

Once I got the error message of 80150017, I thought that it was because I had changed it to the US.

By the way, I was able to download Metal Gear Ground Zeroes and the Walking Dead: The Complete Season last month as well. Has something changed with download policies?

 

Nope the policies have always been the same

What you don't relieze is first not all games are region locked it is up to the publisher if they want to limit it

Since you do not live in an xbox live region you cannot get the region locked games which apply most triple a games

 

For the best experience your account region has to match your actual region.

Since. Kenya is not an xbox live region it won't work

You can migrate to Kenya using the migration tool but since it is not an supported region you would waste your gold membership since it's a 3month wait

 

Thanks for the suggestions, I feel bad that I would't be able to get Dungeon Siege. I hope that I will be able to get the Games with Gold for December. I'm surprised that I was able to download the other games.
