Unable to download Dragon Age II backward compatability on Xbox One

Every time I go to download Dragon Age II from Games for Gold I am met with "Sorry, the service isn't available right now. Please try again later" for the past 2 days. I have tried downloading it on my PC and I'm still having no luck. I have Xbox Live
Gold and have done for the past 2 years and isn't a trial version. I am usually able to download Xbox 360 games so I'm confused as to why its not working this time. Also checked the xbox live servers on the site and it states they are all running normally.
How do I fix this?

It's not backwards compatible. Only Dragon Age Origins and Dragon Age 2 are backwards compatible. You have to get the Xbox One version to play the game.

Paul from the Xbox Forums Team here to assist, it sounds like you're experiencing an issue with downloading Dragon Age 2. Have you tried accessing the game through your Xbox One console and downloading it on there? I understand that normally you can download
the game through our Microsoft store once signed into the account with gold. If the issue still persists I suggest contacting customer support.

I dont think a service is down. The only game that isnt downloading for me is dragon age 2. I tried to download other backwards compatable games and they worked fine. This probably has something to do with dragon age 2’s update.

Dragon Age: Origins and it's DLC and expansion pack Dragon Age: Origins-Awakening
are already available for Xbox One. I don't think Dragon Age II is available on Xbox One.
