Unable to Download Dark Souls Free Game with Gold Memebership

Guys!!

i am having a US console and live in india and have a Gold Membership but whenever I try to download Dark Souls it says

This content is not available for consoles in your region.


I tried through web also yet the same problem persisted.

Purchased and previously Downloaded games not downloading.

So Its been happening to me since the X-box Free Games with Gold promotion where they gave Crackdown For free.

It won't let me Download hlaf the X-box 360 games they have been giving us. I can't download Dark Souls, Dead Island, Warface (not one of the Free with gold games but still purchased and unable to download), Super Streetfighter. Saints Row the Third, Hitman
Absolution, Sleeping Dogs, and Gears of War.

And to top it off, Some of the games I've deleted and tried to Re-download also won't work.

Halo 3 and such. Its getting super &(*^@ Irritating.

 

Dark Souls Code not received

I pre-ordered Dark Souls 3 with promotion for the free backwards compatible Dark Souls. Dark Souls 3 is great but have not received code to download Dark Souls.

If your gamertag is set to the US then that would be the issue. A lot of games are IP locked now which means that your gamertag must be set to the same country you live in. If it isn't already you should try migrating your account to your country.

soime people have purchased the game without being in region onyx

for dark souls its another error entirely

its the pal and ntsc issue (stated in other threads)

however that error is due to his console being PaL and he is trying to download a NTSC version

OP you need to create an account in your actual region and download it as the only way to get a pal version is to download from the pal regions account

and no there is no way to make your console ntsc

 

and that's how they fixed it by downloading from a pal/ntsc region depending on how their console is

 

sorry a ntsc console so you need a ntsc regional account

I am having same issue , my account is transferred to India (before 1 year) and able to download all GOLD free games in India .. just this DS and GTA IV having issue.

Just downloaded latest free game Charlie Murder without any issue but still can't get DS and GTA IV .. it says

That means that due to your government's restrictions those particular games are not available in India and that would be the reason that you cannot download them.
