Unable to download content on 360

Can't download purchased Xbox 360 content to my Xbox 360 console

I've encountered another account issue. This time it's on Xbox 360.

I'm unable to download any purchases from my console download history to my Xbox 360. Whenever I try to download the store wants me to buy the content again. The download history is completely broken.

Even the content I bought a few weeks ago, like the RDR Undead Nightmare Pack or GwG titles aren't recognized as already bought.

What now?

I installed 'The Dark Below' and 'House of Wolves" on xbox one. But I am unable to download the expansions to xbox360.

Under Game Purchase History, on the 360, both are listed as 'content not available'. I am unable to download them.

I cleared the cache several times. I disconnected and reconnected the 360. I deleted my profile and recreated my profile. I transferred licenses to my 360.

Nothing works. Anyone run across this?

 

I'll answer the questions, but this is what I have tried now. I was able to download my profile and purchases on my sons 360. No problems on his console. His console is on the same WiFi as mine and I also received my console from being repaired a week or
so ago. It was sent in because it wouldn't download the update. Regardless of the profile used, my console is having trouble connecting to Xbox Live.

version.

Go to Settings and select Console Settings. Select System Info. Look at the bottom of that page where it says "D:" followed by some numbers (e.g. D: 2.0.16747.0).

Well, now the console will not connect to the internet at all. It's the only console out of 5 that is giving me a problem. Also, the software verison is

Do you know if any of your console's are set with a fixed IP address (static)?

Just make sure you don't use a static method for any of your console's, and that you have Port Forwarding and DMZ turned off/disabled on the router side.

Let's try with a few steps and see where it takes us.

Let's start with your console.

Go to Xbox Network settings and select Configure Network. Select the
Additional settings tab and Restore network settings to factory defaults.

Turn off your console.

Access Actiontec GT724-WG's web-utility interface. Click Advanced Setup on the top.

From the menu on the left select UPnP. Turn off/disable UPnP. Save/Apply.

Disconnect the power supply from the Actiontec GT724-WG and have it powered off for a couple of minutes.

Power on the Actiontec GT724-WG and wait one minute for it to connect properly.

Access your Actiontec GT724-WG and turn on/enable UPnP. Save/Apply and this time, just reboot the Actiontec.

Turn on your console and reconfigure wireless settings.

Go to Xbox network settings and run a diagnostic test to Live (Test Xbox LIVE Connection) and tell us if your console is able to connect properly. If not, where does it fail to connect to Live?

Hello,

today I have been unable to connect to xbox live on my account on my xbox 360, I have tested my internet connections both on wireless and via cable and both work fine, I can log onto my account on my pc.

I cant play my game due to updates required...but I cant download this update due to not being able to connect to live, I also cannot play games I have downloaded from gold either. My home screen is also taking ages to load now and I didn't have this problem
the other day.

Switched to channel 6 and followed the above instructions. When I hit the guide button it shows I have friends online as if I'm connected, but I can't access my friends list. Also, the home screen says I need to log into Xbox Live. When I test my connection
it goes through but gives me a service alert of matchmaking.

 

Ok!

Now, let's try with the following steps up front and let us know how that goes.

Delete Xbox LIVE profile safely.

Before you delete your profile you have to know the username and password for your Microsoft account that is associated with your profile.

1. Go to Settings, and then select System.
2. Select Storage.
3. Select All Devices.
4. Select Gamer Profiles.
5. Select the gamertag that you want to delete.
6. Select Delete.
7. Select Delete Profile Only. This deletes the profile but leaves saved games and achievements.
   

Clear Xbox system cache.

1. Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and select System Settings.
   
2. Select Storage or Memory.
3. Highlight any storage device, and then press Y on your controller.
4. Select Clear System Cache.
5. Repeat this process, 3 times in row.

Restart your console.

Download Xbox LIVE profile.

1. Press the Xbox Guide button on your controller (large X button in the center of your controller).
   
2. Select Download Profile.
3. Enter the Microsoft account associated with your Xbox LIVE gamertag.
4. Enter your Microsoft account password.

 

Clear your system.

To clear the system cache, follow these steps:

Press the Guide button on your controller.

Select settings, and then select System Settings.

Select Storage or Memory.

Highlight any storage device, and then press Y on your controller. (It doesn't matter which storage device you select; the cache will be cleared for all storage devices.)

Select Clear System Cache.

Proceed to complete these steps three times and restart the 360 should work then
