Unable to download any EA games on PC using Xbox Gamepass

We appreciate your coming to the Xbox community. Could you tell us if you get this error trying to download from the Xbox app or Ea Desktop?

Yes, I have Origin installed.

Correction- I forgot I had replaced my hard drive recently and so I did not in fact have Origin installed lol. My apologies, that does seem to have done the trick.

Try the solution below.

Close the origin application completely, make sure it is not running in the task manager

Do not launch the EA Desktop application

Try installing the game via Xbox app, if it doesn't work try installing directly from EA Desktop.

because gamepass pc is basically a front end and it uses the windows store only then if it aint in the windows store it aint on gamepass.

and ea has not realy been added, they just linked your sub to ea so you can download the ea play games from the ea app, there are no acheivements for any of the ea games and no cloud saves and no cross saves. it is a shambles of an app really.

carefull of some of the games within gamepass too, they get you to download a 43GB game which should be 8GB and then people discover it downloads the game for each language available so 5 copies of the exact same game.

if you use pc only then you don't need ultimate you just need gamepass pc, you need to make sure you xbox account in linked with EA and then download the EA Play desktop beta app.
