    Unable to download Amazon Instant Video App


    I keep getting the error message 80004005 when trying to download the Amazon App for the first time. I'm not sure if this is a new thing or if others are having problems with this. I have spent hours chatting with XBOX reps and on the phone with my ISP and
    no luck. All the steps have failed so far.

    Amazon Prime (Instant Video) app not available for download?

    I'm unable to locate/download the Amazon Prime (or Instant Video) app, has it been removed? Has anyone else noticed this?

    Unable to download Amazon Video on XBOX 360

    Hi,

    I am unable to download and install the Amazon Instant Video app on my XBOX 360. I get the error that

    "... is not available in my region or the fiel is corrupt ..."

    I am from India.

    Kindly suggest solutions.

    when i attempt to play amazon app i get a wdw pop-up that reads, The game couldn't start. Try downloading your game again." and references help at xbox.com/support.

    do you know anything about this??

    It appears that Amazon does have an app for the Xbox 360 according to the FAQs regarding this question.

    Install the Amazon Instant Video app

    1. From Xbox Home, go to Apps, and then select Browse Apps.
    2. Browse or search for Amazon.
    3. Select Amazon to download the app. Once downloaded, the Amazon Instant Video app automatically starts.
    To start Amazon Instant Video later, go to Video, My Video Apps, and then select Amazon.

    "Install the Amazon Instant Video app

    If you still can't see the app then I would recommend to
    clear the console system cache.

    If you are referring to Amazon instant video, go to the head to the dashboard/ select Apps tile/ search for Amazon instant video. You should be able to download it from there.
