Unable to download a game

Hi, I've seen this on the forums but there hasn't been an answer. Lately I've been encountering problems downloading a game. I started the download and then steped away. Later I checked under My Games and it wasn't listed. I could see it listed on my storage
device with a yellow exclamation mark stating it was an incomplete download. When I would go into my Account > Download history and restart the download, it would pause at 0%, jump to 80% then 100% and give an error that it was unable to download. Usually
a few minutes later, I would get an xbox message saying that I needed a system update and then my xbox would restart and end up with a solid red light on my console. I could turn my xbox back on with no problems and would not be prompted again for a system
update (unless I tried to download the game). Occassionaly I would get an error about the download failed (4174 - 0000 - D080 - 0200 - 8007 - 045D).

To troubleshoot, I tried a few things like restarting my xbox, clearing my cache, and re-seating my hard drive, but I was still unable to download. I read a post where the support guy recommended clearing the marketplace cache (which I didn't have). There
were also suggestions about checking locale, network settings such, but instead I formatted my hard drive. After that, the game downloaded with no problem.

Anyway, hope that helps others with the same problem.

Yоu саn rеsеt yоur mоdеm аnd rоutеr by unplugging pоwеr tо bоth fоr аrоund 15 sесоnds. Whеn rеstоring pоwеr, plug thе mоdеm in first, аnd thеn wаit fоr аll оf thе lights оn thе mоdеm tо соmе up. Whеn thоsе аrе аll асtivе, plug in thе rоutеr. Оnсе thоsе lights аrе flаshing nоrmаlly, gо аhеаd аnd sign intо Xbоx LIVЕ, аnd try yоur dоwnlоаd аgаin.
