Unable to download a game from Xbox store - Game redeemed via Code

Hi!

Navigate to the 'My games & apps' hub and head to the 'full library' section seen on the left side menu, once there click 'all owned games' & press the drop-down menu at the top and select 'Ready to install' and your game should be there ready to download.

I don't know if you already looked for it in your Xbox Live messages, but the code to get Ace Combat 6 is being sent to you via Xbox Live message.

Also there is an issue when downloading the game from the code directly for some people. While I had no issues downloading and playing AC6 simply by redeeming the code from the Live message, my friend had to uninstall the game after he redeemed the code
and installed the game, search for Ace Combat 6 on the store, and install it from the store page, instead of just the code redemption screen.

You mention it was paid for with store credit from Amazon. Was the game purchased via Amazon? That is to say did you get a redeem code from Amazon that you entered into the Xbox Store? Or did you an Xbox currency/gift card that you then redeemed for value
on the Xbox Store?

Did you purchase the physical version, or did you purchase a digital code to redeem on your Xbox One console? If you purchased a digital code and have recently redeemed it, Halo Wars: Definitive Edition should unlock for you to download for free within the
Xbox Store. If you purchased the physical version, unfortunately we are unable to provide codes for that as it would have already come in the package.

Search for the game in the Xbox Store and see if you're able to download it. Keep us posted!

Try redeeming the codes on https://account.microsoft.com/billing/redeem?ref=xboxcom&refd=account.microsoft.com if that doesn't work, then your only option might be to redeem the codes on an actual Xbox 360 console. Bear in mind, the game and DLC have now been delisted from the store, so the codes might not work.

Edit, I have found another way to redeem a code on the Xbox One or Xbox Series consoles via backward compatibility, which might get the codes to work. Start a backward Compatible title which you can purchase DLC directly from the game. Fallout 3 has this option. If you have Xbox Game Pass, it is currently on there. Then download the game, and start it, then select downloads on the menu, this will show the DLC available for the game. Select view available content. Then select any of the content, as if you were going to purchase the content. Then select Change Payment Option. Then Redeem Code. Try then to redeem the codes you have for the game.
