Unable to display video service over HDMI.

I can not play live TV at all over my XBox One, I have always had issues i.e. The DVR menu's were slow using my cable remote and would crash my DVR if I pressed the buttons to fast , I would press a button and it would take up to 30 seconds to register.
Now it says it is "Unable to display video service over HDMI. HDCP Authentication Failed.(H1014)". Also "Unable to display video service over HDMI. HDCP Link integrity check failed.(H1005)"

I am using Canadian Provider Bell Aliant Fibre Op using a Motorola VIP1216MM Cable box, I have done hard resets of the cable box, modem, Xbox One and also changed the HDMI leads to the cable box and TV.

I plugged my cable box in to my TV using the same HDMI cables direct and everything works fine.

    Any Suggestions?

    :)

Xbox one connects to your satalite box

it is just an HDMI passthrough, the TV window on the dasboard will display whatever video signal comes through over HDMI. the Xbox One displays info on the video using its built in overlay

    No Audio

That would be in settings/ display & sound/ video output/ video fidelity & overscan/ display

in there you have options of Auto detect, dvi or hdmi

Hey, THE LAWG1VER! This is actually a known issue and we're trying to gather as much info as we can about it. One thing I need to know is what version your console's OS is. You can find that

    here
. Please post back the entire line for me so I can pass that along.

I have had this exact same issue. Except mine worked perfectly when I first bought it, over 2 months ago, until I installed the latest update about 2-3 weeks ago. Since the update this message will appear when I try to watch tv but not every time. Another
issue I've been having is a blinking tv screen. A consistent blink. I found people saying that was due to a bad hdmi connection but I've tried different cables and messed around with it and nothing. Then I found someone saying to turn off the instant on feature
and use energy saving mode. That actually fixed both issues after I restarted the xbox. However, so it's obviously not an hdmi connection problem as I didn't even touch the console. After a couple of days I went back to instant-on and it shortly went back
to giving me that H1014 message and the blinking issues. FYI that H1014 message did not happen every single time, and usually when it does show up all I do is click the "options" button on the controller and quite the tv, then click tv again and then it usually
worked until I turned off the xbox again.

So basically I haven't had any issues when using the energy-saving mode but when using instant-on I get a HDMI message and sometimes blinking, not necessarily at the same time. Sorry this is so long.

Here is the version my console's OS: 6.2.11274.0 (xb_rel_140703-1704) fre

I am having worse problems since the update, now the screen just switches between the dashboard and static and I have to unplug the cable box and restart the console. The XBox one is a waste of time it's just full of bugs and its driving me nuts.
