If you buy a car online, it will have a locked tune on it.

You need to select the car and go to tune it yourself, which will bring up a warning saying something like "You cannot tune a locked setup. Press X to delete the setup". Pressing X will delete the setup it came with and open it to be tuned by you. You will
also be able to apply other people's tuning setups to it, but you cannot change their setups.

delete a file called "corrupted" not your tuning files

if you believe their are chewting screenshots or captured video may be helpful.

If youve tried to dl an opponents file are unable to do so it may be because they set it to not share their tune.

Some people sell tunes and visual styles

When you deleted the tune and reset to the default upgrades - you removed all the parts that are tuneable (race brakes, race springs, race transmission, etc...). You will need to upgrade the parts of the car that you want to tune before you can tune them.
