    Unable to Connect Xbox 360 to TV


    I have never had such a problem as with this support in trying to find an answer to my problem. I have a hd tv with 2 hdmi ports and both are being used by cable and av receiver. How can I connect my Xbox without disrupting any
    of those others? Can the av cable be used separately? Or can I hook this to my laptop computer with an hd port that isn't being used? In other words, I can I connect, setup, and play?

    Anyone else unable to sign into xbox live when playing the 360 games?

    When pressing both the Menu and View buttons to bring up the mini guide it just says connect to xbox live.

    Your best bet is to get an AV/Component cable, or to get an HDMI splitter/junction.

    Your HDMI port on your laptop is an output port, and not a capture port, so no.
