Unable to connect to Xbox live!

Unable to play multiplayer live with COD Advanced Warfare, but I'm able to play HALO and other games live. Once in a while COD will work multiplayer live, but very rarely.

When I run the multiplayer test for Xbox One, on a wireless network, I receive the error "You have high packet loss" "Your packet loss is 100%..."

Here's what I've tried so far...

Rebooting all; modem, router and xbox one

Connected Xbox with cable to switch, same issue.

Connected Xbox with cable to modem directly, issue resolved.

Connecting directly to the modem is not an option and I know you are going to say it's the router, obviously, but why are other games working all the time and why occasionally COD works? There must be a resolve to make this work with the existing router.

I'm not overly network savvy, but tried Enabling DMZ, didn't work and also tried the Port Forwarding. Again, I must stress my ignorance with networking.

Anyone else unable to sign into xbox live when playing the 360 games?

When pressing both the Menu and View buttons to bring up the mini guide it just says connect to xbox live.

Still working on resolving this issue and quite frustrated...probably spent 6 hrs total time googling and trying different options.

I've now completed all the suggestions on networking problems posted by xbox and still the same issue.

I did discover another post with the same issue, see below. I'm getting the 100% Packet Loss, but also no results under "Latency", same results identified in the post below.

Same thing is happening to me, I can connect to the internet on my xboxone, but when I do a multiplayer connection test it says 100%packet loss! I've disconnected the internet! reset the console! connected directly to the modem and router! I cleared blu

I was able to resolve my issue yesterday after a phone call to Luxul, makers of my wireless router. What I needed to do was install an earlier version of firmware and that fixed everything. Hopefully it's as easy at that for you tomtom.

What version of firmware did you downgrade to?

 

I have a Luxul XWR 1750 wireless router and loaded the 4.0.4 firmware, which solved the problem. Good luck!

Try to hard reset the console. If that doesn't work try to contact Microsoft.

 

Hello, Please disconnect your wireless conection (Console option), then go to advance settings and clear the MAC Address.

When your console boot again try to add your network again and test multiplayer conection.

I agree with PassiveData! I pay $60 a year so that when I turn on ANY of my Xbox devices it works! It is becoming more and more common that I am disconnected from games, kicked off Netflix of Hulu. I am in the middle of the Rainbow 6 Beta with friends and
I lose connection with the game. I'm thinking "fine, i have not had any problems with the beta so far not a big deal" then I discover that it is not the *** Ubisoft servers... it is Xbox!? The Xbox Live connection is getting to be less reliable than Playstationnetwork!
