Redone update should I try put my hard drive back in?

 

Sorry if I confused you.

The hard drive shouldn't be removed from you console, while you're doing the combo.

With your console turned off, insert the hard drive.

Turn on your console and delete the system update (as per my previous post).

 

Np, so I've done what you suggested and it updated but I still can't access live, gave me an error 800705b4.

And my home screen is still loading really slow :/

But I guess we made some progress thank you. Any more suggestions?

 

Tried gears of war 2 and got disconnected from live (even though my home screen told me I already was) then it tells me this game needs an update and if I decline I will be logged out of live...

 

ever since this update my gold wont work anymore. microsoft needs to do something to fix this. i have a gold membership but it says that my profile cant use live wtf is going on. really getting sick of it. about to just get a ps4

 

If you haven't already, try giving your profile a redownload from Live, as follows:

1. Optional: Copy your Gamertag over to an Xbox 360 formatted USB drive for safe keeping.
   
2. Delete your profile ONLY (do NOT delete profile and items).
   
3. Restart your console.
4. Download your profile.
   

I would also suggest that you try connect your console with an Ethernet cable, if this is possible.

Okay so to do this first of all I had to take out my hard drive after deleting my profile only. So I had access to live to redownload it. Both Ethernet cable and wireless work fine so long my hard drive is disconnected. I have redownloaded and still same
problem if my hard drive is plugged in.

 

Have you consider the alternative to format your Xbox 360's hard drive?

Remember to save your progress/game save files to USB drive.

 

I just had a similar problem with Titanfall with the error code 416B-0000-D080-0200-807B-0194 after attempting to download today's patch. I resolved this issue by going to 'Settings>System>Storage>Hard Drive>Games And Apps'... I then scrolled down and deleted
anything that had to do with the game (which was a single 124kb file). Once I returned to the main menu and selected the game it loaded up, downloaded the appropriate update and went on to perform as normal.
