Unable to connect to Xbox Live or create an account

Having moved from Wales to Scotland and changed email providers I have tried to remove my redundant email which was associated with my Xbox account but in the process I have lost access to Xbox Live. I have verified my Microsoft Account with my new email
address and password via my PC and they both work OK but they are not being accepted by the Xbox. I formatted the xbox hdd in the hope that it would clear out all the old stuff out but that did not work. The initial setup worked fine, connection to the network
was successful, but the entering of my new email remains a problem! I was told that the email address or password I entered didn't work and to try a different one. I went to xbox.com/signinerror for help and tried everything but still no joy. Is there anyway
that old redundant emails (and even current ones) can be erased in order that I can start again from square 1?

So you are unable to create a GT, or are you unable to connect to LIVE after creating an account?

The reason you are unable to connect or create an Xbox Live account is exactly the reason you stated. The service is currently not available in your country and therefore you will not be able to take advantage of the full live account, more information can
