Unable to connect to Xbox live, network test says connected but ie says its not

for past week i have been unable to connect to xbox live. reset router/modem. network test says connected to internet but doesnt automatically connext to xbox live. what to do next?

Can't connect to Live

Booted up the Xbox and it won't connect to Live. Tried two accounts, rebooting router and all network tests. The network tests are saying everything is fine and I can't find something that says "Connect to Live" anywhere. Any help? Frustrating as hell!

Xbox Live CAN'T CONNECT

Yea tried these suggestions and thanks for trying but also does not work. Still receive the same error and still unable to connect. When doing the xbox live connection test cannot pass the network to internet step and im using a wiredd ethernet

xbox 360 to network says connected

network to internet says error DNS whatever but I dont see how this is possible im using a wireddd ethernet not wireless have never ran into any problems or seen anyone else have this problem with a wiredd connection...

unable to reach internet to xbox live connected under the TEST so yeah....unless xbox wants to send someone from geek squad and fix this ?

What exact error You got from network test? Did You tried to do basic maintenance steps?

1. Press and hold Xbox Home button on Your console for about 8 seconds.

2. Then wait, light on power supply must change it color from white to orange.

3. Unplug power cord from outlet for about 30 seconds

4. Start console

5. Press Menu button on controller

6. Select Settings

7. Select Network Settings

8. Select Advanced Settings

9. Select Alternative MAC Address

10. Select Clean

Yes i am always unable to reconnect to Xbox Live unless i restart my console, even if the network test says everything is fine. I run the network connection test, it says there are no problems connecting to Xbox Live, so i press the home button, select Connect
to Xbox Live at which point it cannot establish a connection and asks me to run the network test again. Only if I restart my console can I reconnect.

Thanks for coming to the forums. When you test your connections are both the network and multiplayer saying they are connected? If they both say that you can try the troubleshoot guide for

unable to connect to live. Try this and let us know.

whats more, i can't even sign into a profile. i will test my network, it will connect to xbox live, then i will try and sign into my Live profile and it will say "unable to connect to xbox live"
