    Hi all,

    Im desperate for a solution to this as I have spent hours trying out different online advice and also with a GAMER via the Help Chat but to no avail.

    Problem: I bought a Game Pass and DL FORZA Horizon. Game worked and connected to Horizon Life the first day but has never been able to connect since. I had not changed any settings prior to this.

    the helpful link I then founds out that it is the TEREDO adaptor causing the issue. I have tried all advice about resetting in Command Prompt, not using a VPN (I actually uninstalled mine whilst I try and resolve this issue, though the game did work before
    through the VPN?). I tried using the Device Manager to install the Adapter under - add legacy software (but it does not show up here !!)

    I now the TEREDO is there as it shows in Commend promp after running "netsh interface teredo show state" in cmd (admin). this is the message I get...

    Type : disabled

    Server Name : win1901.ipv6.microsoft.com.

    Client Refresh Interval : 20 seconds

    Client Port : unspecified

    In XBOX networking it shows: NAT Type - Teredo is unable to qualify. Server Connecttivity - Blocked.

    Thanks for getting in touch.

    If you can’t join or host an Xbox Live multiplayer game, or you can’t connect to a party chat session, press the Start button , select Settings > Gaming > Xbox Networking, and look for NAT Type under Xbox Live multiplayer.

    If it says Teredo is unable to qualify, it means your PC is unable to obtain a Teredo IP address.

    I have tried all then no success. I also do not use a VPN to access the Web. I have even checked status in 'Command Prompt', this shows DISABLED...

    Thanks for the quick response.

    Have you tried re-enabling Teredo if it's any help?

    In the search box on the taskbar, type cmd, and then open the Command prompt.

    Run the following commands from the Admin command prompt to disable the AsusGameFirstService, stop the AsusGameFirstService, and re-enable Teredo in the registry:

    sc config AsusGameFirstService start= disabled

    sc stop AsusGameFirstService

    reg add HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip6\Parameters /v DisabledComponents /t REG_DWORD /d 0x0

    Hi Amy,

    Thanks for getting in touch.

    Press Windows key + R to open up a Run command. Next, type “cmd“, press Ctrl + Shift + Enter and choose Yes at the UAC (User Account Control) prompt to open up an Elevated Command Prompt.

    Inside the elevated Command Prompt, type the following command to disable the Teredo interface:

    netsh interface Teredo set state disable

    Once the interface has been disabled, close the elevated Command Prompt and reboot your computer.

    At the next startup, open another elevated Command Prompt window (using step 1), type the following command and press Enter:

    netsh interface Teredo set state type=default

    Return to Device Manager and see if the Teredo Adapter is now enabled.

    I am quit good with Computers but this is wrecking my brain trying to find a solution. It only effect games from the Xbox for PC Tile. Other games via my STEAM account connect seamlessly and whilst using a VPN...

    I would really appriciate any help you guys can give me.......its driving me nuts !

    Sorry to hear it. First, please make sure there are no pending updates to your PC or the app. Also, check to see that you have the latest graphics drivers.

    Once that is done then make sure that not only are you signing in to the PC with the account that bought the game but that you are also signed into the Xbox Companion App and Beta App with the same account.

    Thanks for coming back to me so soon..

    Followed you advice:-

    • All Drivers and PC Up to Date.
    • Double checked the all accounts are synced - Microsoft Account (Admin), Xbox Beta, Xbox Companion.
    The bizarre thing is....Xbox Companion is showing game achievements, albeit 15 days old (FORZA), but showing another Game WOLFENSTEIN 2 from 01/02/2020 ? Q: Why is it sending limited packet date but not game data? Plus I'm getting error messages saying 'Unable
    to connect and 'Blocked', when obviously data is getting through?

    Now, when checking NETWORK, I'm still getting this buggy message...
