Unable to connect to Xbox live in games

just got a brand new Nokia Lumia 635 running windows 8.1 from cricket and when ever I try to connect to Xbox live on a Xbox live supported game it keeps saying that I'm unable to connect to Xbox live at this time. Does anyone know why it's saying this and
how to fix it? Connected my Microsoft account perfectly fine and can view my avatar, gamer score and everything else perfectly fine on the little Xbox live app but just can't connect to Xbox live games.

Anyone else unable to sign into xbox live when playing the 360 games?

When pressing both the Menu and View buttons to bring up the mini guide it just says connect to xbox live.

Same for me, it continues to telo me "unable to connect to xbox live", rebooted and reinstalled the game, but still unable to connect

Having the exact same issue when playing AoE:CS: every now and then it asks for Xbox sign-in/Xbox login errors occur although everything else (avatar, achievements etc.) in the games app work perfectly fine... I really want to know what I can do about that.
Sometimes a restart of my Lumia 820 (latest updates installed) fixes the problem, it could be coincidence but sometimes synching my main WP8 account (the same i use with xbox of course) through the phones settings may have resolved the problem, but not always.

What exactly triggers this error? Is it like a xbox-browser cookie we get from the servers which has a time-out or why does it appear to occur randomly?

Also I often face disconnects while playing - is that a server issue due to heavy-server load? Using reliable wifi connection...

Please provide fixes!
