    Unable To Connect To World (Minecraft)


    Everytime I try to join a friend's world I receive the "unable to connect to world" screen. First I would like I start by saying this is a very long term and on-going issue for years. I have browsed help pages for the exact problem and nothing has solved it.

    Ive done the unfriend, restart, friend one. My connection is open. My game is updated. I've done the DNS connection fix. And probably so many more others. Absolutely nothing has worked and I am sick of having this issue.

    For the love of mooshrooms... what the **** do I do? Has anyone found the one final fix? Do I have to create an entirely new account with everything? Sick and tired of this.

    It could well be that he needs to do a power cycle on his Xbox. I had this issue once where it was impossible to join each others worlds. However, it was with Xbox to Xbox. We both power cycled our Xbox's and it worked for us then.
    I might also have something to do with the settings on that server? This could be a NAT incompatibility issue. Ask our friend to their NAT type, it should say open. This can be done by following these steps:

    1. Click the Start icon and open the Xbox app.
    2. Select Settings > Network.
    3. Under Network status, check the NAT type

    If the problem persists, let me know!

    Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this.

    Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.
    Tried this and we're still having the same problem unfortunately.
