"Unable to connect to world" error message

Discus and support "Unable to connect to world" error message in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; This error message continues to pop up on one of my childrens' pocket edition.     "Unable to connect to world" error message


    This error message continues to pop up on one of my childrens' pocket edition. They never had any issues in the past with joining each other's worlds. One child is able to join other friends in their worlds, but the other is not. I have them set up on
    the same family account with the same privacy settings enabled. What should I do next to fix this?

    My friend can’t join my world on minecraft

    So last night i tested it with another friend and the first time he loaded on with no problems. Then he came off and came back on and the same error message was popping up. Connection timed out. Unable to connect to world. Then this morning I tried to join one of his worlds and then I got the error message. So I’m not sure what is going on?

    Hi Miguel, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

    If you can play with your other friends it can be an issue on your friend's end, first thing, please unfriend and re-add this specific friend.

    After that, please ask your friend to try and use a different network then try to connect to your world.

    By the way, what device your friend is using as well as yours?

    Minecraft crossing between Xbox and windows 10

    It starts loading him in and it will either connect him to my sisters world (who was in the other room) or put him back in the menu and say "unable to connect to world". Im not sure if there was a message or not because he was at his house.

    Are you receiving an error message regarding DNS errors at all? I'm curious--when you run a LIVE connection test when you're unable to connect, what's the exact error message you're receiving?
