Unable to connect to the XBOX Live services

This issue began on Friday. When i powered up the console, it was taking a while to pull my profile. After a while it popped a msg saying that i couldn't connect to xlive services, so i did the connection test thing. So XBOX > Wiki (perfect with max bars),
then to > internet (perfect). When it came to xbox live, it wouldn't connect. So i turned it off, and powered it back on again. This time, it wouldn't even let me login to my profle. Kept getting constant messages about how i couldn't connect to xlive.

So i checked my internet connection. Perfect with everything else (PC, Laptop and mobile phones). Everything is working as it should, but even so, i resetted my modem/wifi. Did not help.

Since this issue happened once before during a DDoS attack last yet, i checked online to find anything about it. No news whatsoever on the subject. Checked those "is the site down" websites, and there were hundreds of players complaining about the exact
same thing, how the xbox live servies were acting up for the past few days.

With that in mind, i gotta ask: when will this be fixed, and how do i go about getting my gold membership days back?

Service alert

I have a service and no idea why. I am unable to connect to xbox live. What is the problem?

Gold membership isn't broken down into days. If any compensation is provided for extended outage periods it is usually provided by message to the console. I believe that everything is back up an working now though. Please post or contact support at 1-800-4MY-XBOX
if you're still experiencing any issues.

Started working again earlier today.

It's upsetting to know that Microsoft makes it an incredible hassle to reach them in any way. I mean, this post was the closest i got to any contact, and i doubt anybody related to the company even checks this. Thanks OneSmelly for the number, but something
tells me i'm getting no help from them by phone. My brother had some friends over in the weekend for a little online fun, but were unable to. Oh well.

www.xbox.com/.../livetou has all of the info on the terms of service. It is stated in there that you cannot get your xbox serviced by anyone but an unauthorized repair service and so with
that having happened you are actually unable to be connected to xbox live. Because you are unable to connect to xbox live updates are not available to be downloaded from the live network. If you are unable to download said updates many games will be unavailable
to play even offline but others that do not need the updates (ie. older games) will still be able to be played.

I am also unable to connect. Service status is "up" for all services, but I cannot sign in to XBox Live.

My save files are in the cloud, too

There are no known issues with either Xbox Live services and EPIC Games services. If you're unable to connect, then there is likely a problem with either your hardware and/or network.

If you are not connected to Xbox Live, the Live Services are unable to track your status. You are unable to connect to their network and online services.

That is way it won't appear in front. It is the same if you want to call someone, but you can't reach that person, because your telephone cabel in not plugged in.

That's a similiar issue. You can't reach somthing without being connected to it.
