    Unable to connect to my sister's world


    I play with my sister on minecraft and we've been able to play minecraft for a few months, but in the past few weeks I havent been able to connect to her world. I am on Xbox and she is on PC. We are both updated to v1.18.12. She can connect to my world just fine no problems, but whenever i try to connect, it tells me "unable." Anyone know a fix or trick?

    Sorry to hear about your Minecraft issues but let's see if we can help



    Have you attempted to clear out your resource packs in the game? There might have been a corrupted file or something to cause the packs to not download correctly. Just follow the below steps



    1. From the main menu select Settings
    2. Go down to Storage
    3. Then over to Cached Data
    4. Click the item you don’t want and hit the trash can icon, this will delete it off your system

    Keep in mind that you will need to redownload anything if you connect to a world that uses those resource packs. You can do this with the worlds as well and they will be redownloaded when trying to connect.

    "unable to connect to server" is the only thing he can remember and as for my sister, we had separate worlds and did not add her.

    It starts loading him in and it will either connect him to my sisters world (who was in the other room) or put him back in the menu and say "unable to connect to world". Im not sure if there was a message or not because he was at his house.
