    Unable to Connect to Multiplayer Minecraft Games


    My son has a child's account and is trying to play Minecraft with a friend who has Realms. Yesterday he was able to play without any problem. Today he is getting the error message that his account is not set up for Multiplayer games, and his friend says
    that my son's gamertag status says that he's "offline". All off his permissions are set to "allowed". We have not changed anything about his account since yesterday. This seems to be en error that has been going on for years, because when I search the forums,
    many people have had the same problems. I have checked and re-checked my son's settings, logged him out and back in....we have tried all the suggestions but nothing works.

Please test everything listed in the article including NAT type connectivity and privacy/multiplayer settings.
