Unable to Connect to Live Despite Stable Network Connection

I sat down to play my Xbox One when I got an alert that reads "For this game, you need to be online." I then checked my network settings and was told that I was both connected to the Network and to the Multiplayer, and yet I still can't connect to Xbox
live. I've checked everything I can think of, from the obvious turning it off and on again, and even logging in and out of my Xbox Live account to make sure that it wasn't a fault in that, and yet I still seem unable to connect to Xbox Live. If anybody either
knows what is happening or has been through this before and could give some helpful advice, I would be very appreciative.

Connection problem - HELP

Hey guys,
So it's been about a year since I bought my Xbox 360 (newer generation), and my Xbox Live connection works 2 days out of 3. I use wireless connection. My Xbox is pretty far from my router, but when I connect to a network, my router shows up and there are usually around 4 bars. When I click on "test connection", this is where it tells me that the console is unable to connect.
Did anyone had this problem before?

 

How to connect to Xbox Live in X1

There is no button or menu to connect!

The system is not connected, I do a network test and it passes, but still is not connected... I can't do anything with the X1 if it's not connected to live!

Is there a way to manually connect to Xbox live in this console?

 

To solve the issue you are experiencing I suggest you to remove the account from your console, clear the console cache and download your account again. Follow the step by step instructions:

a)To remove the account from xbox live console:

Scroll left on the Home screen to open the guide.

Select Settings.

Select All Settings.

Under "Account," select Remove accounts.

Select the account that you want to remove.

Select Remove to confirm.

When you're finished, select Close.

b) To clear cache on an Xbox One:

Press and hold the power button on the front of the console until it powers down completely.

Unplug the power cable from the back of the console so that the power brick in not connected to the console.

Press the power button on the console three or four times. This will ensure that any remaining power in the battery is drained, clearing the cache on the console.

Plug the power cable back into the console.

Wait for the light on the power brick to change from white to orange.

Turn on the console using the power button.

c)To download your Xbox profile to the Xbox One console:

1. Scroll left on the Home screen to open the guide.

2. Scroll down, and then select Add & manage.

3. Select Add new.

4. Enter the email address for the Microsoft account that's associated with your Xbox profile, and then select Enter.

5. Enter the password for your Microsoft account, and then select Enter.

6. Read the Microsoft Service Agreement and Privacy Statement, and then select I Accept.

7. Follow the steps to configure your Sign-In & Security preferences and download your Xbox profile to your Xbox One console.
