unable to connect to internet

hello

I tried to connect my device to xbox live but i receive Internet error (no more detail or error code) and MTU error.after that I checked my modem configuration ( ASUS DSL-N10E ) and changed MTU values to 1370 or 1470 or 1500 and some more but i still receive
the error.

I tried all of the site's solution for my problem but these error still persist

Unable to Connect to Internet

Most of these interfaces actually validate your Internet by adding your MAC address to an "allowed" list. What you would need to do is use a separate device to gain Internet access by going through the browser validation process. Once that is done, you will
need to get the MAC Address of that device. Once you get the MAC address, you will need to update your system network settings on your xbox 360 to use that MAC address as your xbox MAC address to trick the wireless internet into thinking you are authorized.



MAC addresses are usually found under network settings. They look like XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX with the X's being replaced with numbers or the letters A through F.



You can use either method or the one above. The benefit of the other poster above is that it's really easy to reauthorize your Internet connection due to a timeout. The negative is that there is some slight performance cost which is negligible. The benefit
to the method I mentioned is that you won't need to have your laptop on to connect to the Internet. Also you will run into an issue if you have both your laptop on and the xbox when they are connected to the Internet.

How are you connecting your console to your network? Have you tried both wireless and wired connections? And just to be sure, did you also try this specific Networking
Wizard? Let us know!

 

Amir what is the make and model of the device(s) you are using to connect to your network? I would probably check the Firewall settings on whatever device is performing the routing function for your network. On certain devices Firewall settings may cause
alternating internet/MTU errors.

 

@mister Balloons I'm using wireless and tried wired connection too.also i used Network Wizard and after some tries i posted here.

@Potato Shakes Router Model is ASUS DSL-N10E with 2.1.20 EU firmware.

all devices are connected to router with WiFi and just my xbox has problem.

 

If it's not already Dropped I would lower the firewall on there just to be safe. I would disable LAN to WAN filter and disable the firewall in the general firewall tab.

Just to double check you are on the xbox 360 correct, if you are other good general troubleshooting would be go to your network on the console and hit configure, Go to additional settings, restore network settings to factory defaults and power off the console
for 30 sec and while its off unplug your asus gateway for 30 sec then power them both back on and test the connection. Who is your ISP??

Who is your ISP(Internet Service Provider)?

Can you use your computer, to perform a basic IP connectivity test (ping) and post back with the result. Here's how:

On your computer, open up a command prompt (on Windows press "Windowskey + R", then type "cmd" and press Enter. On Mac choose spotlight and type terminal).



Windows: In the black window that opens, type: ping epix.xbox.com -f -l 1364


Mac OS X: in the Terminal window, type: ping -D -s 1364 epix.xbox.com

I used @taidara method and found out package size is 1272 while my router didn't change it to MTU that I configured

after that i called ISP and told me too reset my modem for solving problem.
