I have gold membership and my internet connection is good.

Unable to connect to Gears of War services

Been trying to connect to online gears to finish co-op campaign but I've been getting error message BIGELOWE and that I need a Xbox live account to play. Does anyone know about this issue?

Hi Zaidens,

Unfortunately not having an Xbox Live Gold subscription is basically like if you're are playing offline. Without a paid subscription you won't be able to play any game online, not just Gears of War 4. Although the Horde mode cannot be played while offline,
you can still play the campaign and host a private multiplayer match on LAN against bots (A.I.) while offline.

In the home menu, select "versus" and then "play on LAN" then select "Host" to create a lobby. From there you should be able to select your match settings and preferences and then set up the bots.

It seems that may be how the game is created. Going into your Xbox Setting and completely go offline. When you load back up Gears 4 it will recognize no internet and allow you to play.
May not be the best case solution, however from my research it will allow you to play! Once your done gaming simply connect back to the internet!
