    Unable to Connect Minecraft Online


    My son recently received a Xbox Live Gold Membership, he was able to update Minecraft, but then when he tries to play, it of course asks him if he wants to play offline or online, when he clicks online, & signs in, the game loads then a message comes up,
    stating to test his connection. Which he does, connection is fine, and when he tries to connect again he gets the same message again.

    He doesn't have any problems with any of his other games,{Halo 4, Assassin Creed 3, Left for Dead 2, etc.} only this one.

    What could be the problem? What do we need to do?

    We are using an older tv, more like an old tv, it's 15yo! Ha! Could this be the problem? Would it have to do with the connections?

    Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums for this issue. Sorry to hear that you're unable to connect to a buddy in Minecraft. Its possible that you're unable to connect with your other friend due to a NAT type issue on their end, since you've successfully
    been able to connect with others on your end. However, you did say that there are already 4 others in there with you and with Minecraft: Windows 10 edition, you'd be limited to playing with 4 others online (or locally) unless you are subscribers of Minecraft
    Realms (this allows up to 10).

    I'm really sorry to hear that you're unable to play with your Microsoft account, however you can visit Minecraft's website and check the connected accounts to your Minecraft account. If you're unable to find any connected accounts, you can go ahead and contact the support for Minecraft as we do not handle connecting accounts.
