Unable to complete setup on my new xbox one s

If this is on an initial setup of a new box, I had the same problem when installing a second new XBox One S upstairs at my home. Here is how I overcame it.

1.) Hook the box up to a wired Ethernet connection with internet access

2.) Complete the initial setup and updates.

3.) Take the box back to the place you want it setup (for me this was upstairs)

4.) Go into settings and setup the wifi....for me, it did not reboot when entering the wifi password in this manner and everything works just fine via wifi since then.

Same issue setup my new xbox one on xmas day and all worked well until unable to play online since yesterday morning. If anyone has a solution please share it
