    Unable to claim Xbox All Access - what are my options?


    Backstory: I purchased Xbox All Access from BestBuy.com. When I got the console in the mail, I set it up with my account and selected "claim" in the account settings to activate the Game Pass Ultimate subscription that came on the Xbox, but it gave me an
    error. I tried resetting the console, deleting the cache, all kinds of suff, and it always gives me an error when I try to claim the subscription.

    Microsoft tech support walked me through their troubleshooting and they said they can see my claim attempts but they dont know why it's not working. They even got my my Xbox serial number and tried to activate on their end. After all of this they finally
    said they couldn't help me and I had to get Best Buy to fix the issue.

    Best Buy support did not understand what was happening and asked for screenshots, so I sent screenshots. Three days later they told me that their "code master" (yes, literally) investigated the problem and they can't fix it so I should contact Microsoft.

    I'm pulling my hair out here. I have an open credit line for this thing and I can't even claim it. And MS and Best Buy are blaming each other.

    The best solution as far as I can tell is for me to just get 2 years of Game Pass Ultimate codes sent directly to me so I can redeem them, since this whole claiming what's already on the Xbox isn't working and nobody can fix it.

    My question is, who is liable here? MS or Best Buy? Who do I go to for either a refund or an alternate solution? Neither one is taking responsibility and I am on the hook for a $589 line of credit.

    You logged into this wrong profile here on the web, or on the console? Is your actual profile still on your console? Access the Account Management option, find WLID, and see what it currently thinks your WLID is. Is this different than what you think it
    should be?

    If you are unable to log in to LIVE on the console, please contact phone support to open an Unauthorized Access claim.

    Hey there Dirty, what you can do is contact Xbox customer support and open an Unauthorised Access ticket, this will start an investigation into the account to see if the claim is true and to find out who did it. If this is the case at least the cheater lable
    may be removed, but any achievements you aquired before the reset will be unable to be unlocked again on that account.



    Opening an Unathorized Access ticket will lock the account out during the investigation, you will be unable to access Xbox Live from that account.
