Unable to change to custom gamer pic

Hello,

I've been trying to change my gamer pic for about a week now to a custom image. The issue is that I go through the process, and each time I upload the picture, I get to the part where it says "Success!", but the picture has yet to change. I have followed
the rules for image size, it's not in any way inappropriate (it's me and my dog), and I've tried it both on my Xbox and the Windows app. Each time, same thing - Success message, but it never actually changes. I'm wondering if this is a known issue of some
kind or if anyone is aware of a workaround.

Obviously not a big deal, but it would be nice to have that picture uploaded to use as my gamer pic.

I can see your gamerpic of you and your dog just fine!

After you upload your gamerpic, it will need a little time to be verified by Microsoft before it gets published to your profile. You're good to go now.

 

That's so weird, because I still can't see it. At least not on my side of things. Interestingly, I was able to see it when I logged in on the web site just now (I captured it with the Snipping tool), but as soon as I clicked on the link to the support forums,
it switched to the last gamer pic I used (the one from Quantum Break), which is what I see now. And I've never seen it on my console or the Xbox app (both computer and Android).

I'm at a loss. It seems like others can see it, but not me when I log in.

Is there any estimate of how long it takes for me to be able to see it on my own profile? I can certainly understand that it may take a few days given the volume of pics being uploaded, but I'm just curious.
