unable to change privacy and online safety settings

Hi there I recently bought an Xbox one, and I went to buy an extra download for Fifa 16 but it would net let me buy it as it said my setting need changed, so I went to my privacy settings and it would not allow me to change any of my details, it says
a parent needs to change it but it won't allow them to do it either. On my Xbox 360 I was allowed to change my account setting to anything but now on Xbox one I cant change anything.

    :)

Privacy Settings on Xbox App for Windows 10

I am trying to change my privacy settings for my Microsoft/Xbox account, I go to xbox.com and then to privacy and it redirects me to the "Change your child’s Xbox privacy and online safety settings" page. However there is nothing else after that
and I am unable to actually change my privacy settings, thank you.

    Hello,

    Thanks for the support message.

What error message are you receiving when you try to buy the game? Is it just saying the service is not available, or prompting you to put in a passcode or what?

For you parent to manage you content, please have your parent sign into THEIR own account and click this link here.

    account.xbox.com/.../ContentAccess

If you would like to manage your own privacy settings, go ahead and click here:

Should you have any other concerns, feel free to post back.

    Cheers!

    Hello,

Are your parents unable to sign into their account because they have forgotten their passwrod? If so, please direct them to
    http://xbox.com/forgot/ to reset their password.

Should you have any other concerns, feel free to post back.

    Cheers!

  9. I have Minecraft on my iPad. When I go to the servers section it tells me I have to enter my Xbox account. So I put it in, then it tells me I can’t access it cause I have to change my privacy and online safety settings. Only problem is i can’t find it.

It is important that your account is registered as an over 18+ of age in order to be considered as adult.
It has been already registered as 18+ . It CLEARLY SAYS "ADULT" IN THE "YOUR FAMILY" SECTION

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely.
Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes.
Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.
