    Unable to change my GamerTag with my available fund in my wallet


    I am having difficulty to change my GamerTag with my available fund in my wallet. I am re-directed to the gamertag url when I attempt to change my gamertag. However, it prompts me to make payment but it is unable to detect my available fund in my wallet. Instead, it keeps asking me to pay with my credit card....

    Hello Candy, I believe that the system only allow the payment of the exchange of Gamertag with a valid card, have tried adding a card to see if you can make the exchange of gamertag?

    When I try from Windows 10 Xbox store it just says to go on Xbox.com and do it and on Xbox.com it uses the funds from my USD xbox wallet when the money is in my CAD xbox wallet so how do I change it?

    Thank you for your reply, I wish I had seen this one before following what Chiefjoboo said.

    I had it pre-ordered for £63 but Chiefjoboo said they would take it from my bank first as that is what I put when pre-ordering as I had no funds on my wallet then, so I cancelled the order then had to pay £71.99 and use the funds on my wallet.

    Well serves me right for not waiting for more replies, you live and you learn lol.

    EDIT : I did try and change the payment option, but my MS Account Balance is not one of the choices, which I find strange, its either add a new card or paypal only, not Account funds. Would be great to add that option if changes to payment method are needed.
