Unable to change gamertag on pc/mobile - HTTP error 400

You mention a suspension, and you say the site gives HTTP ERROR 400. Are you trying to access
https://enforcement.xbox.com

Keep in mind if your account has a suspension on it from the Enforcement Team, no one in the forums nor support will be able intervene or give you any information on it.

Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums with this situation. As the Ambassadors have previously stated, you must go to through the
Enforcement websiteto resolve this.
If your suspension is longer than a day then you may request a case review. If you're getting an error in contacting Enforcement, then please try the site from different device.
Side note: Enforcement does not Post, Read, or Comment on Forums nor can support offer assistance.

If you run into a toxic player then Report, Block and Ignore the user, and do not engage them. (Enforcement does not see anyone as Defending themselves, they look towards the
Code of Conductonly.)We do have upcoming changes for your privacy settings in the works

We understand that you are trying to change your gamer tag and is unable to because of the try again later error message. Based on your description, you have tried to use the devices and browsers to ensure you can change your gamer tag.

May we know if your account's country/region and devices match your current location?

How about using mobile data or hotspot? Were you able to change your gamertag?

Please post a screenshot of the error message and conceal any personal information.

Have the same prob.

I created for MCC an account; created the gamertag as shown here "" it said that the gamertag is available - but after that, I got a different one.

Since then, I'm unable to change the gamertag on the homepage.

If I try to change the gamertag on the XBox Live homepage - there occurs an error and I'm unable to change it.

It says, that I should try it later - i try it now since 3 days.
