Unable to change background over DLNA

Discus and support Unable to change background over DLNA in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; When I try to change the background over DLNA, my only options are "home" and "about".     Unable to change background over DLNA


    When I try to change the background over DLNA, my only options are "home" and "about". I've tried uninstalling and re-installing the media player app multiple times and hard resetting the xbox one multiple times. I wondered if it was the file size.
    I tried some of the backgrounds from r/xboxthemes. I'm using imediashare on my iphone 6. I can browse photos and videos just fine. I am viewing the background full screen. When I press the menu button, I still just get "home" and "about".

    Do you need to keep dlna up to keep custom background once set ?

    Do you need to keep up host pc for dlna turned on all the time for custom background set from dlna or if i turn off computer will my background dissapear?

    Cant cast to grove music

    It's been 5 days since your reply, so I would just like to ask if we could get a timetable on when DLNA streaming will be coming back. That's basically the only thing I use Groove for. At the very least could you make the old version of blue groove usable
    (i.e. don't automatically force an update for the blue version of groove). I'd rather have DLNA and no background music then background music and no DLNA.

    The sooner media can be pulled via DLNA and music can be played in the background, the better.

    I cant get background music to work. Wireless display preview app lags, media player doesn't recognize hard drives, and dlna stop working.
